Pittsburgh Watercolor Society members may bring up to three pieces of art to be considered for the Three Rivers Arts Festival exhibit "Think Outside the Frame". Pick-up for screened work and notification of acceptance will be the same day, 2:00-4:00.
While all works will be considered, for this special exhibit PWS artists are challenged to create a piece of water media art that falls “Outside the Frame.” Think big, think bold, think 3-D. Unlike most exhibitions, these works do not have to be framed and matted. In fact, we ask that you think of new ways to hang/display your work.
Each artist can enter up to three (3) pieces of artwork for a $15. Entry fee. Work may be either a 20-year-old gem or a 2 week old one, just so we show where PSA is at 70, and what we can create.
Selection of work will be conducted by a panel of jurors made up of professional artists and peers. Awards will be selected by the Cultural Trust’s own Murray Horne.
